OTC Sell Guide

Written by 100X

This guide explains how to sell digital assets through the OTC page. It covers adding a bank card as a payment method, entering the selling amount, creating an order, waiting for the merchant’s payment, and confirming receipt.

Before You Begin

Before selling through OTC, confirm that:

  • You have completed the required identity verification

  • You have completed mobile phone and Google Authenticator security setup

  • Your account has sufficient available USDT

  • You have a bank card registered in your legal name

Important: Confirm that the funds have actually been credited to your bank account before confirming receipt or releasing the digital assets. Do not rely solely on an SMS message, email, payment screenshot, transfer receipt, or the merchant’s statement.

Step 1 Open the Sell Page

  1. Go to the 【OTC】 page.

  2. Confirm that the correct fiat currency is displayed in the upper-right corner, such as CNY.

  3. Select 【Sell】.

  4. Enter the amount of digital assets you want to sell or the amount of fiat currency you want to receive.

  5. Review the exchange rate, estimated amount to be received, available balance, and transaction fee.

The exchange rate, transaction fee, and estimated amount may change with market conditions. Always refer to the actual order page.

Step 2 Add a Payment Method

If you have not added a payment method:

  1. Tap 【Add Payment Method】.

  2. Open the payment method selection page.

  3. Find 【Bank Transfer】.

  4. Tap the plus icon next to 【Bank Transfer】.

Only add a bank card registered in your legal name. Do not use another person’s bank card. The bank account holder’s name must match your identity verification or KYC information.

Step 3 Enter Your Bank Card Information

Enter the required bank card information:

  1. Confirm the name displayed by the system.

  2. Confirm the mobile phone number displayed by the system.

  3. Enter your bank card number.

  4. Enter the bank name.

  5. Enter the branch name.

  6. Carefully verify all information.

  7. Tap 【Save】.

Check the bank card number digit by digit. Incorrect card, bank, or branch information may prevent you from receiving payment.

Do not add another person’s bank card or use a payment account that does not belong to you.

Step 4 Enter the Selling Amount

After saving the bank card, return to the OTC Sell page.

  1. Confirm that 【Sell】 is selected.

  2. Enter the amount of fiat currency you want to receive.

  3. Review the corresponding amount of USDT to be sold.

  4. Select the bank card you added as the payment method.

  5. Confirm the current exchange rate.

  6. Confirm the transaction fee.

  7. Confirm the estimated amount to be received.

  8. Tap 【Sell USDT】 after verifying the information.

Make sure the selling amount does not exceed your available balance.

Step 5 Confirm and Create the Order

On the order confirmation page, carefully review:

  • Amount of USDT being sold

  • Transaction fee

  • Estimated fiat amount to be received

  • Current unit price

  • Payment method

  • Last digits of the bank card

Prices may change with market conditions. The final price is subject to the payment channel’s current quote.

Confirm that the displayed bank card digits match the card you intend to use, and check the countdown timer on the order creation button.

After confirming all information, tap 【Create Order】.

Step 6 Wait for the Merchant’s Payment

After creating the order, remain on the order page and wait for the merchant to pay.

Review the following information:

  • Order amount

  • Exchange rate

  • Selling quantity

  • Transaction fee

  • Actual quantity being sold

  • Receiving account

  • Order status

When the order status shows 【In Progress】, wait for the merchant to transfer the funds to the bank card shown in the order.

Do not confirm receipt or release the digital assets merely because the merchant sends a payment screenshot, transfer receipt, or urgent message.

Step 7 Confirm That the Funds Have Arrived

After the merchant claims to have paid, verify the payment through your bank’s official service.

  1. Open your bank’s official app or online banking service.

  2. Check the available balance.

  3. Review the latest incoming transaction record.

  4. Confirm that the payment amount matches the order amount.

  5. Confirm that the funds have actually been credited.

  6. Confirm that the payment is not frozen, reversed, recalled, or otherwise restricted.

  7. Only after confirming receipt should you complete the confirmation or asset release process on the order page.

Use only your bank’s official app, online banking service, or branch records to verify receipt. Do not rely solely on an SMS notification or a screenshot provided by the merchant.

If the funds have not arrived, the amount is incorrect, the payer’s information is suspicious, or the payment status is abnormal, do not confirm receipt or release the assets.

Step 8 Complete the Transaction

After confirming that the full payment has been credited:

  1. Return to the order page.

  2. Follow the on-screen instructions and tap 【Confirm Receipt】, 【Payment Received】, 【Release】, or the corresponding button.

  3. Complete any required security verification.

  4. Confirm that the order status shows the transaction is complete.

  5. Review the transaction in your order history.

Button names may vary depending on the app version or payment channel. Follow the instructions displayed on the actual order page.

Sell Completion Checklist

Before completing the transaction, confirm that:

  • The full payment has been credited to your bank account

  • The received amount matches the order amount

  • The funds are not frozen, reversed, returned, or otherwise restricted

  • The payment status matches the order status

  • The order can be found in your order history

Do not tap 【Confirm Receipt】, 【Payment Received】, 【Release】, or any similar button until you have independently confirmed that the funds have arrived.

Handling Transaction Issues

Do not release the digital assets if:

  • No payment appears in your bank account

  • The received amount does not match the order amount

  • The merchant asks you to change the receiving account

  • The merchant claims payment was made by another person

  • The merchant asks to split the payment

  • The payer’s information appears suspicious

  • The merchant provides only a payment screenshot without a matching bank transaction

  • The merchant asks you to communicate or trade outside the platform

  • The payment status does not match the order status

If an issue occurs, retain the order details, chat history, and bank transaction records. Use the appeal function on the order page or contact official customer support.

Transaction Security Reminders

  • The bank card must be registered in your legal name.

  • The account holder’s name must match your KYC information.

  • Verify receipt only through the bank’s official app, online banking service, or branch.

  • Do not trust an SMS notification or a transfer screenshot provided by the merchant.

  • Do not accept off-platform transactions, third-party collection, split payments, or private changes to the payment method.

  • Do not conduct the transaction outside the platform.

  • Never disclose verification codes, banking passwords, or Google Authenticator information.

  • Never release digital assets before independently confirming that the funds have arrived.

  • Amounts, exchange rates, fees, bank card details, and order times shown in this guide are examples. Always refer to the actual page.
