Where Can I View Assets After Buying in Spot Trading?

Written by 100X

1. Where Will the Assets Go After a Successful Buy Order?

After a user buys digital assets through spot trading, the purchased assets will be credited to the spot account once the order is filled.

For example, if a user buys BTC with USDT, the BTC received after the order is filled will be displayed in the spot account.

If the order has not been filled or has only been partially filled, the funds corresponding to the unfilled portion may remain frozen, while the filled portion will be credited to the account based on the actual execution result.

2. How to View Assets After Buying

Users can follow the steps below:

  1. Open the 100X App

  2. Tap 【Assets】 at the bottom

  3. Enter the Assets page

  4. Select 【Spot Account】

  5. Find the corresponding asset in the asset list

  6. View the available balance, frozen amount, and total asset amount

If the user bought BTC, the BTC balance can be viewed in the asset list of the spot account.

3. Why Are the Assets Not Displayed Immediately After Buying?

Under normal circumstances, after a spot order is filled, the assets will be automatically credited to the spot account.

If the assets are not displayed immediately, it may be due to the following reasons:

  1. The order has not been filled yet

  2. The order has only been partially filled

  3. The page data has not been refreshed in time

  4. The system is syncing the trade record

  5. Network delay causes slower asset display updates

Users can refresh the page or go to the spot trading page to check the order status and trade history.

4. How to Confirm Whether the Order Has Been Filled

Users can check the following sections on the spot trading page:

  1. Open Orders

  2. Order History

  3. Trade History

If the order is still under 【Open Orders】, it may not have been fully filled yet.
If the order appears in 【Trade History】, it means the order has an execution result.

5. What Do Available Balance, Frozen Amount, and Total Assets Mean?

The spot account usually displays the following asset statuses:

  1. Available Balance: The amount currently available for trading, withdrawal, or transfer

  2. Frozen Amount: The amount temporarily locked due to open orders or other unfinished operations

  3. Total Assets: The sum of the available balance and frozen amount

For example, after a user buys BTC, if no further order is placed, the BTC will usually be shown as available balance.
If the user then places a sell order using BTC, the corresponding BTC may be shown as frozen amount.

6. What Can Users Do After the Assets Are Credited?

After the assets are credited, users may perform the following actions based on their needs:

  1. Continue holding the assets

  2. Sell them in the spot market

  3. Transfer them to another account

  4. Withdraw or perform other supported operations depending on platform availability

The available operations shall be subject to the display on the 100X App.

7. Friendly Reminder

After buying assets, users should check the order status and asset balance in time. If the order has not been filled, the assets may still be frozen. If the order has been filled, the assets will be credited to the spot account according to the execution result.

8. Special Note

100X provides spot trading services and related feature descriptions. The actual asset crediting status, account display, and available operations shall be subject to the display on the 100X App and the system’s actual processing result.
